Default MS-DOS games on XP

How do i play MS-DOS games on my computer? i'm running XP. i know XP doesn't use MS-DOS at all. i can't multi boot because i don't have a copy of windows 98 or 95, and i don't want to buy a peice of crap computer just to play MS-DOS games.

I thought that 2000 and XP didnt have MS-DOS and that it was outdated. If that is correct then you will need a emulator of some sort......................
