Default Monitor's colours

My monitor has a problem with its colours ( it can only display black - green ( many kinds of green of course ) - white ).
It might be with the connections of the wires with the CPU, or it might be a problem with a software? I don't know..

Can you give me suggestions on how to fix the problem, so that my monitor can display all the colours?
Thanks

Have you tried different graphics card drivers on a new card altogether?
