I just figured out that I can burn a video onto a normal CD-R and it will work as a dvd in my dvd player.
So now I have this movie that's over 700mb and i would like to know what's the best program or way to split this movie into 2 parts.

if it is an avi file use virtual dub

theres lots of guides on how to do this with this program, very easy! make sure you click the direct stream copy for video, not full processing mode! far quicker!!
