mouse question

bought a new mouse

manual says no need for a driver.. doesnt work under windows... does under linux any clues why?

I have almost the exact same one for my laptop, but mine is the Microsoft version. I also use that USB wireless antenna too. I don't know if it will work without drivers. I installed my drivers before I hooked up my mouse. Works great. The drivers are probably used for mouse properties and nothing more so it might work, I just never tried. Odd that it doesn't come with driver disc.

yah.. when i opened it i was wondering where the driver disc was and after i read the little manual said it doesnt need one.. so tomrrow imma call the tech line they have or something... unless someone can figure out something tonight..

So it's not working with your computer? Have you tried disconnecting other USB devices and just the mouse USB antenna? It's a long shot. Make sure the mouse is less than 6' away from the USB antenna. I wonder if you can use the Microsoft drivers with that mouse?

There's the link if you want to try. If you just barely got the mouse , maybe just return it under warranty.
