Default Motherboard/RAM Combo??

Anyone had experience with these two items in combination?:
- Asus P5B Deluxe Mobo
- OCZ Memory (2 x1024 MB)- Platinum Rev.2 XTC
(OCZ2P800R22GK) DDR2 PC2-6400

They'll be married to an Intel E6600 CPU and an ATI 1950 Pro Video Card

I'm a bit concerned about OCZ RAM (never used it before) -- there seems to be some problem with DOA sticks and issues around compatability with some boards.

Any thoughts or comments to help me decide if this is a good way to go would be appreciated. I don't intend to get into serious overclocking of my system, but the stock performance of these looks impressive - so does the price.

Thanks very much.

Not sure about the RAM, but i've seen that board come in DOA at work about 5 times out of 8 boards.
