Default motherboard question

So i just got everything for my new build. I was attaching stuff to the motherboard and i was ready to put it in the case. But then i realized i didn't have spacers. The mother didn't come with any which is a M2N-Sli Deluxe motherboard. I thought you need spacers for grounding. Do you now always need them or what?

The case should have the needed risers. Yes you will need them to attach the motherboard to the case. Use only what you need as misplaced risers can cause shorting problems.

They are usually small brass pieces that look like these:

Next question, my case only came with six spacers, but the motherboard talks about using nine screws. Do i NEED to use all nine screws to properly ground it or can i just use six since i only have six spacers?

You can get away with six. make sure there's one at each corner, maybe one in the middle and one on the middle of the edge where the slots are at the back of the case.
