Default Motherboard and Processor Upgrade

Hi There,

I want to upgrade my motherboard and processor. I have currently got and AMD Athlon 2400XP i believe with GeFOrce 6600 256MB AGP graphics card, 3 slots of 512 MB DDR ram (1536MB total), CD RW and DVD read and 2 hard drives running from through standard IDE cables.

I have been looking around and quite fancy getting a Pentium 4 630, 3 GHz processor but i am having trouble finding a motherboard which is compatible with the rest of my hardware. Could someone point me in the right direction please.

Also, i see that a lot of motherboards now have DDR II Ram. Will this be compatible with my PC2100 DDR Ram i have at the moment?

Thanks in advance

1 The reason why you're having a hard time looking for a mobo compatible with your stuff is because its an LGA 775 socket, with PCI-E as video card

2. No, DDR2 won't be compatible with yours. DDR has 184 pins and DDR3 has 200 or 240 pins
