Default Mobo preferences

which mobo company do u prefer buying (e.g. gigabtye, asus..., etc.) and why? i'll be using my mobo for computer programming and gaming, so which company would u suggest?

Should i get an sis or an intel northbridge and/or southbridge chipset if my cpu will be a p4?

Also, how great is the "intel extreme graphics2"? is it good enough for warcraft III?

gigabtye is good becasue it has dual BIOS and they are extremly easy to update. MSI stuuf usally comes with a lot of extra software. i personally went with gigabyte.

Some people love Asus....some people despise it. I would never buy it because of all the bad things I've heard. I have heard as much bad as good though.

Abit has some pretty nice motherboards and the only motherboard that fully support Athlon X2 without any BIOS tweaks.
