Hello,
I just have a quick question about compatibility for my motherboard. I have a Intel D925XCV 925x Motherboard. http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/cv/. Can I put a 1GB PC5300 DDR2 DT for a memory upgrade. I was just wondering because I currently have two 512mb but I also have two other slots that I could put 1GB each in. I was just wondering if this would work with my computer. Thank you.

You should be able to use it, it just won't operate at 667mhz. Your mobo only supports up to 533mhz(PC2 4200), so your ram will be running at that speed.

So there is no reason to try and upgrade my ram and there's no chance I can make it go faster?

Well, you can upgrade for the purpose of going from 1gb to 2gb or more of ram. Its just that all your memory modules will run at 533mhz max. So it wouldnt do you any good to get faster ram then what your mobo supports.
