Default motherboard issues

i was thinking of getting my new mobo before i get my cpu just because ill have the moeny for that before i have enough for the cpu..so does this mobo makes both pci-ex cards run at 16x or is it like the ones AMD_ZEN mentioned that split the single to 8x on each card

since it is sli,it will always being running at a total of 16x but if u have one card that card willl being running at 16x with the full load, if u have 2 cards they will split that 16x load to 8x each, thus, make each card render half the screen incresing video performance due to the split workload
