Motherboard issue

It's still about as fast as my old board. Good enough for me. Wonder if it would take windows 10?? On the ram, I wonder if they made some kind of upgrade through the bios to acept 3-4 gigs of ram?

I don't know about that. I can tell you that though Windows sees 3 gigs you can only access 2.

How can you tell for sure. Bios and windows is showing 3 gigs.

Here is what windows says in its report on Performance.

Physical Memory: 1793mb
Cached memory: 1833mb
Total Memory: 3070mb
Installed: 3072mb

Sounds like it sees all three gigs to me.

That's what Celery said. Sees 3, uses 2.

Remember that I said Windows cached that memory and that it performed better with 3 than 2.

Just be glad that it worked that way and not be stuck with only 2.
