Default Motherboard Help

ELLO!

I have been using my laptop for just over 3 years and the specifications are getting a bit... old. My current machine has the following specifications:

- AMD E-350 Processor
- AMD Radeon™ HD 6310 Graphics
- 4GB RAM

Now, I want to construct my own tower; I have bought myself an Intel Core i7-3770K and I am now looking for a motherboard. I was thinking about getting the Intel DZ77GAL-70K Desktop Board but it's going to set me back roughly $170. I was wondering what other recommendations for motherboards you may have. The motherboard should have similar features for a lower price, if that's even possible.

I honestly have no knowledge about motherboards or I would have been able to come up with something.

All responses are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

In case anyone was wondering, I decided to go with the Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard.
