Motherboard + Drivers Question

What are the consequences, if any, if I DONT uninstall the motherboard drivers and proceed to install a new motherboard?

Specifically, I had a computer with all the drivers installed. I then took out the motherboard but forgot to uninstall the mobo drivers.
Is there gonna be any problems if I start up the computer with the new motherboard?

There could be conflicts upon first boot and the worst that will happen is that Windows wont boot. The best case would be that Windows recognizes the hardware change and goes through the "found new hardware" routine. If you have XP, you could always pop in the install CD and on first boot, do a repair install which will reinstall XP and leave all your files and programs intact. You'll only need to reinstall your drivers and any service packs afterwards.
