A capacitor holds electric currents and over time they can leak if you replace them before leaking into motherboard it should be fine and if they faulty then it could stop the motherboard from powering up.

The picture above shows you the difference and what they look like

Sometimes they can just be bulged without any leaks

well back to what i said, replace motherboard, your current seems to be shot, motherboards can die without reason. its a bitch its a pain but that is computer electronics for you.
