Motherboard and CPU temperature?

I have a pentium D with dual processor (2.8 GHz each). The temperature for the CPU is around 50 celcius and that of the motherboard around 43 celcius. Is that a good temperature? Some guy told me that I should have bought an AMD motherboard instead because the one I got tends to overheat or something.

that looks ok to me. But I've never heard of the temps that the pentium D is supposed to run at but 50C doesnt sound too hot.

And yes, intel does run hotter than amd, but I doubt that overheating will be a problem.

the max is about 60C, that's fine
