motherboard and cpu question?

I have an Asus P4S800 motherboard and I am wondering if it will support an Intel P4 3.0GHz Socket 478 PRESCOTT 1MB CPU Processor. I have checked online but have found nothing that gaurantees a match.

as long as it accepts the bus speed and socket, it will work...

yeah the mother board is socket 478 and accepts up to 800mhz fsb.........so do you think this will work..........cause it is going to cost me 100 bucks.

I already have a good system but I was just trying to put a second one together for cheap.
