hello world hope someone can answer my question can the motherboard AmberineM-GL6E (A8AE-LE) which is install with ddr ram handle ddr 2 ram? i cant seem to find any answers. your help is much appreciated.

Not entirely true.

Some motherboards will support say DDR2 and DDR3. Just not at the same time of course. But as it has been already said for the OP's benefit. That board will only support 184 pin DDR memory.

Some motherboards don't like what slots certain ram are in and will warn you when booting up to change them into a different slot.
