Question Motherboard?

Is the Gigabyte GA-K8NS motherboard good? I don't plan on doing much, if any, overclocking. Any opinions would be great. Also, how important will PCIe be in the next few years? Do you think I should get a board with PCIe now? Thanks again, guys!

thats a good board if you wanna use socket 754. you wont be able to upgrade much tho. and yes pci-x is important since it will be taking over agp in the next few years.

You'll want to get a skt 939 MOBO mate. 754 is diying out rapidly now. If you buy a 939 you wont need to upgrade your MOBO for at least the next 2 years.

Well in fact, of you dont plan on doing much, your better off getting the more budget boards. PCI-e really isnt nessacary. Its only just lingering under PCI-es perfomance. You can get a bog standard AGP card much cheaper than the PCI-e ones
