Hi

I am just wondering how one knows how good there motherboard is?

I mean like when you have a better graphics card you are able to tell the difference via how good games are running etc

But with a motherboard how do you go about it?

PS I have a Neo2 Platinum Nforce3 (MSI skt 939) if this helps at all

No worries, the mobo u have is KICK ASS DUDE, mobos dont really work like that, as far as i know. just the features it has it what matters, IE what socket, what ram is supports, what chipset, and the slots, PCIs and then either 2 16x PCI-E(SLI, nforce4 chipset).1 16x PCI-E(nforce4 chipset) or 1 8x AGP (nforce 3) that is usuaully waht makes people determine what they want

i think that theres this software called sisoftware sandra or something like that....and it will measure ur chipset speed or something like that but just as tweak said u have nothing to worrie about ur motherboard is easyily one of the best nforce 3 motherboards out to date
