More important for RAM memory speed

I am looking at two different types of laptop RAM

They are both 2 GB sticks, but one is a DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) and the other a DDR2 800 (PC2 6400).

Also, the 5300 has a CAS Latency of 4, and a timing of 4-4-4-12, while the 6400 has a CAS Latency of 5 and a timing of 5-5-5-15.

They are equal price, though the 5300 has the greatest knockoff price, causing me to lean towards it.

Which will be the better RAM for light gaming, movie watching, and basic office programs?

Thanks.

It depends on what FSB your current processor is, what is your CPU?

In general the better one is the DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) but you won't get a performance boost if your FSB (or HT for AMD) is low.

I have a Acer Aspire AS4530-5627 NoteBook AMD Mobile Athlon 64 X2 QL-60(1.90GHz) with a NVIDIA GeForce 9100M G.

Well I don't know if the computer will even support the extra boost. I know for sure it will support the lower CAS Latency in the 5300 though.
