Can anybody tell me if there is anything specific I need to look for when buying a LCD monitor to go with this PC? I want to get the most out of my system, and want to be able to play games in high quality - will any LCD do?

Thanks everyone :D

well for one that video card won't let you play that many games and you will probably need to use low settings if it's anything that looks better than age of empires.

But there are a few things to look at when comparing monitors.
Of course size is important, just get something that suits your needs and budget.

then there is the response time. For normal use something like 8 is ok, but for gaming you want as fast as possible. Something around 5ms or under would be good.

Then there is the contrast ratio, viewing angels and the recommended resolution to think about.

If you want to you could give us your budget and I'm sure someone will find a good monitor for that price.
