modem---->router ---------> computer using connection sharing------->other stuffs
I am looking for a program that I can run on my computer that is sharing the connection that will allow me to monitor the connections to and from the other machines and close them if need be. I have tried winroute but it was too bloated for me. TCP view shows me tons of connections but not from the other machines I am sharing to. My best luck was with ethereal (or wireshark or whatever the heck its calling itself now) when I told it to sniff on the interface that the shared connections were connecting to. Any suggestions?
