Default monitor trouble

alright my friends 98 computer monitor is messed up the 24 bit got erased and can only be displayed on 16 so if there any way to reinstall it or what??

16 bit or 16 colors?

16 bit and dont you need the cd for the video card cd for it??

lol....it's not his computer, it's his friends, therefore it won't be the vid card that is in his sig.....he said it's win 98 anyway.....lol

BTW 16 colors is BAD lol my aunt had one well she got it free from a school it was a p2 but the card was in the kb range...and it onlt allowed 16 colors...aol looked like a cartoon...along with yahoo tryin to webcam.... made her barbi computer seem like a dream.......
