Monitor has a blue line! Help!

Is it in the middle, or closer to the side, or what?

You can't count the number of pixels wide? So I take it that it's very thin?

Its to the left, but not too left. Also, I can't turn my computer on since I need thermal adhesive to reattach a loosened heatsinker(Yeah, my dad didn't have the time to take me. <.<)

Push the menu button on the monitor, and see if you can see it.

That's wierd, the blue line is still there if I turn the monitor on, but my computer isn't connected to the monitor.

Well that answers your question. The monitor is having the problem. There really aren't any fixes for it unless it's under warranty.

If you feel ok with taking apart your monitor to replace the screen, you can search ebay for the same monitor you have that is broken, but still has a good screen. It may be a long shot still as not every single monitor model is on ebay, but it's worth a try. I've done it before.
