Default Monitor doesn't fit my new built desktop..Question.

After buiding my first desktop PC, I noticed my old flat screen monitor that I was hoping to use with it, doesn't fit. The video card plug isn't the same size.

Do I buy a specific slot for it, and install next to the video card that should also fit my motherboard or do i just need to get a new monitor?

Thanks in advance!!

most video cards with dvi come with a dvi-vga adaptor, check the box for your vid card, otherwise see above.
