Hi i was tryin to set up dual monitor on my computer, using the monitor i have now and an old one. I couldnt get it to work though the graphics board saw there was another monitor there etc (it was plugged in dvi port using an adapter)
anyway iv noticed that the old monitor has a orange head and the new one a blue head. the old ones head also only had 12pins where the new one had 14(i think, it was more anyway)
so my question is..is this monitor too old (im assuming cause its old its different pins etc) to use with things now. Have standards moved on and pin connections on monitors now different?
