Moniters

I was wondering who makes good moniters?

I was perferring an LCD screen...but i'm not sure, is there a benifit to having an LCD screen than just a plan moniter?

An LCD screen has better viewing angles, and generally looks better, and tend to use DVI instead of VGA. If your going to get one, get one with DVI connections, as DVI is nice.

What about a DELL monitor, they make some very nice ones you know..

no, that would be gateway.

dell does make good moniters as another member said. I have a HP LCD and it works great. 2 years old and no dead pixels.

I would also reccomed ACER moniters. most come with a standard 3 year warrenty, and on a 4 year old ACER lcd at work, there are no dead pixels.

Make sure the response time isn't more than around 16 ms - basically the higher the response time, the blurrier anything in motion on the screen will look i.e. videos.
