The only thing I get from my computer to my t.v. is my desktop. It won't show anything else. Any suggestions?

You probably have it set as two independent monitors. Try moving a window over by dragging it to your left or right side until it appears on your television.

I had the same problem, Just go into display settings, and there should be two screens, labeled 1 and 2. Make sure you have the "Extend the desktop to this monitor" box selected on both of them. Hope that helped.
