modem/wireless router options?

hello guys,, today i found a 2wire wireless dsl modem/router..
model 2701hg-b
was wondering if i could set it up to not use the dsl at all,. instead just grab the wireless signal from my other router to use when a computer is plugged via ethernet?
basically what im asking is can i use this as just a wireless router and ignore the dsl?
if so how can i do this?

I believe what you are looking for is a wireless bridge. Some routers are capable of this and some are not. It depends on the settings in the router.
