modem problem

hi guys i'm new to this forum

recently from past 1 month i am not able to access the internet due some fault in the modem

the thing is after i switch on my modem just after few seconds my modem lights starts blinking and it says local area network unplugged is it due to voltage fluxuation

i'm using bsnl modem

plz help at the earliest
