Default Modem card question

I have an internal modem card that looks just about identical to this

http://cgi.ebay.com/Internal-PCI-56K...d=p3286.c0.m14

Would that be compatible with a PC that is about 3 years old?

Also, is there a wayy I can look at the modem card to know if it is compatible?

plz let me know.

thx

EDIT: more info it states on the card itself that it is a PCtel pct789t-c

It will work on any computer with a PCI port, which is generally any standard computer for the past almost 20 years.

I really can't tell you that it will work with Vista. There seems to be no Vista compatible drivers available for that modem chipset.

Yea, I don't know. That first one says that 25% reported it works with Vista.
