If you went for 2000Mhz RAM I would run it at 1600Mhz and tighten the timings or programs that shift a lot of data around the 'board will seriously suffer. The thing is the i7's are very efficient when it comes to utilising RAM with a pretty efficient link and unless your a complete and utter mad Ãœber benchmarking junkie geek 2000Mhz RAM is really not necessary.
If you wanna upgrade the RAM go for some low latency 1600Mhz triple channel modules.
