Mobo/RAM

I have seen sticks of memory test good individually, but fail together even after they worked together for a long period of time. More than likely one of the 2 sticks is failing very intermittinly. Try running memtest through 1000's of passes maybe overnight. Each stick individually. You may find the culprit that way. Do you have memory you can pull from a different machine? It's unlikely your new board is the problem, its too coincidental. The only other thing I can think of is if you accidental grounded out the motherboard on install. Make sure there is not a standoff where there should not be one. That would cause issues as well.

Alright, this is a message that the other person working on this sent me.

1. He started the computer with 2 ram sticks in and hit F9 to run the mem test
2. He then (against everything I thought or knew you could do) put the other two sticks in - yes, with the computer on and running....:confused:
3. He then ran the test and it came back fine and the computer restarted.
4. Windows booted fine and recoginized 8GB of RAM.
5. He shut down the computer and turned it back on and it gave him 3 beeps and wouldn't start until he took 2 of the sticks out again.

:confused::confused:
