Default MOBO question

If I have an intel D945GTP mobo, could I upgrade from a single core CPU to a dual core? If so, which dual core CPU would work with my MOBO?

thx

Default Re: MOBO question

intel D945GTP
Processors
Support for an Intel® Pentium® D Processor in an LGA775 socket with an 800 MHz system bus
Support for an Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor in an LGA775 socket with an 800 or 533 MHz system bus
Support for an Intel® Celeron® D Processor in an LGA775 socket with a 533 MHz system bus

You can upgrade to a Pentium D, which is a Dual Core, but its like the Worst Dual Core.
