Mobo probs

My problems is that my microphone is skipping while I talk and I have narrowed it down to the mobo. I have read that there have been problems with this board with audio. It is a ASUS M3A78 and I was wondering if there has been any updates or fixes for this. Thanks for all help in advance.

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your motherboard. is your mic usb or onboard through the pink slot in the back of the motherboard?

thats an update for the drivers of the bios.

theres the audio drivers for the board, try installing both of those.

I updated with those audio drivers and that bios update was incorrect but I got the most recent one for my board but it didn't fix my problem
