MOBO help

im swapping out a mobo and im wondering if i could take out the heat sink and maybe vacum the dust a little so it can run a little more efficent. so would it be ok to take it out and vacum it?

Well by vacuum I'm assuming you mean the small little hand vacs which I believe is ok, so long as you keep it a little far. I've always thought the compressed air cans worked best.

Yeah, just blow the air from those compressed cans... a vacuum is good only with carpets... you want to blow the air, not just suck on it... not as powerful if you can't get really clsoe to the mobo...

compressed air is the way to go but a vacum would help a little.
