Hey guys, if anyone seen my posts around here most of you know I am very computer literate and repair/build them for a living.. well I got something I've never seen before. I was gonna format my gaming computer went to bios set to boot from cd, and got an Error (ERROR -- Can't Write ESCD). Looked this up on google and everything I am finding is pertainting to Asus boards (which I have) and saying the bios chip is bad and resetting cmos, resetting battery, and reloading all defaults does nothing.. Anyone else have any experience.. Probably just gonna get a new board.. If I just set to boot from OS I get no error and everything boots normally. But something is obviously wrong.
Thanks in advance for any info.
