Default Mixed RIMM Modules

Hi my pc has 512MB PC1066 RIMM memory in it does any one happen to know if it's possible to mix PC1066 with PC800 RIMM? Will the PC1066 memory just run at the slower speed?

Oh man, haven't heard of RIMMS in a long time. Aren't they like obsolete or something? I don't see any computer companies using them anymore. Toooooo expensive. I think you have to have all of them running the same speed or it won't work.

It could theroretically work but it's VERY VERY picky. I dont even recomend mixing brands.

Yeah, better to get the same of everything. Oh by the way, please remember that RIMM modules must be installed in pairs of two modules.
