Cool Missing Windows XP Disk Problems may Cause

Hi guys

Just a quick question. I have lost my Windows Xp disc, I am getting a new one but live in a small town and am waiting for it to come into stock. If someone find and uses my disc will my windows stop working?

Thanks

No. The guy who finds it won't be able to activate it because you have activated yours.

Also, they guy may get in trouble, but your safe

The disc itself is not keyed to your computer. so no one would beable to tell where it came from.
Question...Was it a microsoft installation disc or a manufacturer installation disc?

Hi guys

Thanks for replying. Not sure what disc it was I dont remember seeing it. I think it may have been chucked out with my computer box and has the activation key with it because the sticker is not on my computer. Thanks again for your help I can stop worrying now.

Thanks
