Hi again
I downloaded mIRC a while ago but haven't gotten about to use it
Now that i have, i've noticed that whenever i do a WHOIS to myself, it shows up my hostname and IP address and so forth, just wonder how i am able to hide this ... i don't really appreciate how my computer address is being displayed every time i connect to other people in a channel

Anybody know ? I've been avoiding MIRC for a while now seeing as though i don't want details such as my IP address or DNS name revealed publicly, any ideas ?

what if u do a WHOIS on another person? Does it show his ip etc? It's been a while since I used irc, so I don't remember much.
