This is something we did as a class project and turned out pretty nice. Ill take pictures of it tommorow of what our verison turned out like.
Im going to make my own at my house so I can have a eye catching computer like this.

PS. If theres a way to make a youtube vidoe display in here please change :)

Looks good, but wont catch me doing anything like that ;)

Eventually what will happen is performance will go down, because although the oil is an insulator and doesn't conduct electricity it can still seep into the components like capacitors and could cause them to have a very short life span.

As to having videos embedded in post, it wont be allowed because spammers would only then embed dirty, nasty videos ;)

wow thats pretty cool I didn't know you actually poured the mineral oil directly on the parts I always thought they were covered in something first!

edit: what kind of temps were you getting?

that is really cool , i carnt beleive the computer didn't malfunction.
funny if u left it on to long and the oil heat up and turned into a deep fryer

On that link, you can go onto the website, and theres a sort of blog on how its going, and what else they've done.
They've had the machine up for 6 months now, with fans, and everything is still working as well as they were on day 1.
