Microst power Options

I dont know if this should be in a different place but, I just need some help. On my Toshiba laptop, I have tried to changed the Hibernation and screan shut off settings and it wont let me. One thing pops up saying, "Close Microsot Power Options and use TOSHIBA Power Saver" and then the screan to change the options is greyed so I dont know what to do. And, Im only 13 so, I dont know what this means, but if any of you on this forum could help me, that would be awsome.
