Default Microsoft Office Activation Problem..

Microsoft Office XP Pro: It says that the software cannot be activated because it has been activated too many times on the internet. I am activating it again because my old hard drive crashed and is busted now. Does anyone know what to do in this case? Ive heard if you call microsoft, that works, but some say you have to pay for telephone support and i don't want to do that. Any ideas?

You don't have to pay for phone activation. They will give you a toll free number to call. You go to activate windows by phone. It will give you a number. Call the toll free number and enter the code it shows you on your activation screen its like 25 characters. After you enter it in the phone system it will give you a activation code to activate windows for you.
