BTW, with an 8800gts you get 5.9 in graphics rating? I get 5.9 with my 7900gs...

5.9 is the max bud. It doesn't really take an awesome graphics card to do it either...

Nope. I remember Raffaz's 6800GT even got a 5.9.

Probably because the desktop Aero interface doesn't need as powerful a graphics card as people once thought, and so even older cards, get a high rating

This number however does not specify how well a card will do in games, and games built into Windows Vista, as a 6800 I'm guessing, would throw a lot less FPS, than a 7900 for example, even in Chess, and the other games available.

for some reason i highly doubt the new cards wont be able to support it
i mean even if it dosnt support 4.1 we still got 4.0

wtf... dx10 games have barely come out yet and theeres gonna be a new version that doesnt work with the 8000s. great.

I dont really care, cause it wont be a huge difference in DX10 and 10.1. DX10 is good, my 7900gs is puts out some really nice graphics, its getting to the point, where how much more can I want? Graphics are nice, sound doesnt get any better now, physics are improoving tho. But there isnt a huge amount more too do.
