Smile microsoft

okay so my computer had been messed up
it was saying like missing or corrupt file

so i did a destructive recovery or whatever the hell the guy from india said
and like how can i get microsoft word, powerpoint and stuff back without the disk?

Yeah, if it's a complete recovery, the chances are big that's it's formatted. You won't be able to have Office back unless you reinstall it. IF you don't have the discs, go to www.openoffice.org

This is a free office suite that is as powerful, if not MORE powerful than Microsoft Office.

Yes, open office is good. they had a review of it in last months "Smart Computing" magazine. its a nice free program, but it lost some points in extras, which were mostly templates and stuff like that, mostly for Power point.

the only downside i ahve seen from open office, is when useing its word processor, it saves them by defualt as a weird format, to get them as a normal document you need to manually change it when you save it the first time. Do this by changing the format drop down thing to "*.doc" but with out the quotes. It can open any word document made in office.
