I had problems with my Asus P5E3 which resulted in my buying the Foxconn Black Ops board. (Thread here)
I had the P5E3 sitting here for a month or so I finally decided to RMA it and Asus Australia (nice people that they are ) sent me a P5E3 WiFi Deluxe AP as a replacement.
Trouble is, do I spend another $A1000 and build a fourth pc or sell the board, lmao.
My daughters P4 3.2GB Northwood system just shit itself, (m/board crapped out) so she needs a pc and I'm sick and tired of her using my spare (Q6600 @3.2GHz + 2GB DDR2 1066MHz) so I guess I'll build.
Seems every cloud has a lead lining, get a good board then have to spend a grand or so to build a pc around it, last time it was because I won $A600 worth of DDR3 memory modules in an online contest and had to buy a new m/board (the P5E3 which turned out to be faulty).
God help me if I win in the i7 online competition I've entered, the m/board I'd like (if I win the i7 965) is around the $A600 mark and the memory is ~$A800.
My missus would want a divorce
Anyway, nice Xmas present from Asus imo
Merry Christmas one and all, have a good one.
Cheers
