Default merging partitions

i need a FREE program to merge 2 partions on my hard drive i know everyone suggests partition magic but u have to buy that...so does anyone know a free program that can do it?

Umm ... is it like putting two partitions together ? And is it the same file format, ie it must be like NTFS and NTFS, not NTFS and something different like FAT32 ... i'll check it out

ya thats what i want to do "put 2 partitions together" and yes they do have to be the same file format which they are so i just need a program that can do that
