Memory upgrades

ok when I first got this laptop it came with 256mb pc2100 DDR SDRAM then about after to years I decided hey this is SLOW, so I bought another 256mb pc2700 (Yes i made the mistake of buying 2700) DDR SDRAM stick now I have 512mb and everything works fine but again I decide hey this is slow lol so today 5/28\2006 i decide that im going for a straight gigabyte!
but I want to know will pc3200 work in my comp lol
