Default Memory questions

1. Are there currently other types of memory being used or is DDR Ram the only Ram being used?

2. If so, what other types of memory are being used?

3. What type of memory was being used before DDR?

4. What type of memory was being used before that one, and so on?

There are several different types of RAM. The most common is DDR and DDR2. DDR3 is becoming a tad more common as it's a new type. Before DDR, there was SDRAM, which was the vast majority. And then occasionally, you would get a "unique" computer that took RDRAM.
