Default Memory Question

If I'm not going to be overclocking my memory, but still want high quality or gaming RAM. Is this still good for me?

Yup, that's good stuff. Pricey, but good.

I use this memory: G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800. It's only $44.99. It runs well and is rock stable. Haven't had any performance issues running any games such as Crysis, COD4 and Bioshock.

If you don't want to spend that much for the Corsair XMS2 and you won't be overclocking, this is a good kit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820144062 It works at 800MHz with 4-4-4-12 timings.

the corsair has a mail-in-rebate of $40 so it's actually cheaper than what the both of you posted.

I'd go with this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227089

but all of the ram posted above (including the corsair) are good choises.

But as the Corsair is actually cheaper than the OCZ kit, I would recommend that. Proof: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mem...0_2.html#sect0 They don't test any OCZ stuff but that's amazing!
